Stop Smoking – Try Hypnosis

Girl refusing a cigaretteDid you know according to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) (2016) “Worldwide, tobacco use causes nearly 6 million deaths per year… and that Cigarette smoking is responsible for more than 480,000 deaths per year in the United States, including nearly 42,000 deaths resulting from secondhand smoke exposure”. Does that alarm you?  It alarmed me as a nonsmoker?  Well, if you have tried everything to quit and have had no success.  But have you tried a smoking cessation program using hypnosis?

Hypnosis has been found to be very effective in helping people quit smoking permanently. In the altered state known as Hypnosis you are gently given suggestion to make the necessary changes in your life to facilitate quitting smoking.  In fact, if done properly hypnosis can help you quit smoking without all of the extra burdens of craving, withdrawals, and temptations to replace smoking with another unnecessary unwanted bad habit.   I often have people when medically acceptable drink water and take a deep breath or two when they want a cigarette.  Most people find it takes 21 days to kick a bad habit.  Seem like a long time?  Compare that to how long you have had the bad habit.  So the next time someone in your family complains about your smoking or the effects of second hand smoke think about quitting.
